People are not examining their pet's teeth and they are truly being affected. Yes, I agree, there is no expensive that would stop me from doing this. Their health is #1!IBDKittieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08542967766238603387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-783184851261096158.post-43200297672388384382014-07-25T10:06:34.791-04:002014-07-25T10:06:34.791-04:00I'm about to do dentals on two of my "kid...I'm about to do dentals on two of my "kids". I know from experience with my Dexter that he did indeed get VERY sick and almost died. For him, all of this occurred at the same time we were in the process of selling one house and moving to another. He had started to over groom himself so badly that he had completely "shaved" himself from his belly all the way on the interior of his hind legs down to his feet. At the time, I had attributed it to strangers doing walk-thru through our home....the stress of the the move. But this continued months into our new home. He lost weight, stopped eating, and eventually stopped drinking water. At that point, I rushed him to the vet and it was only then that they discovered that it was his teeth that were the problem. Three teeth had to be extracted and his was put on mega antibiotics. This IS a very important issue with cats. And, as I said at the beginning, I am about to work on the other two as I will not put the cats or myself through that ordeal of illness again. Yes, it IS expensive. But I cannot put a price on the potential of losing a cat to something I can control and fix.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00449731181704051941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-783184851261096158.post-55538798773127538042014-07-24T23:55:02.075-04:002014-07-24T23:55:02.075-04:00Thank you for making this blog, looking forward to...Thank you for making this blog, looking forward to part 2 :)Tinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-783184851261096158.post-51011660482364046312014-07-24T23:30:25.876-04:002014-07-24T23:30:25.876-04:00Thanks Teri!
